**IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING THE LEE COUNTY GIS WEBSITE** 

The Lee County GIS website is currently down and our efforts to get it back up and running have not been successful.  Fortunately, we were already in the process of creating a new and improved site.  After repeated attempts to get the “old” site up and running, it became apparent that our time and resources would be more effectively spent on getting the “new” site ready and available to all of our users. 

We reached a significant milestone in the process on January 19^th – access to the test site is now available for internal review and testing.  Lee County staff is diligently working to accelerate the final steps in the process with a goal of getting it out to you as soon as possible.  (Sorry, we are not able to give you a specific date just yet.  Keep tuned in to www.countyoflee.org.) 

In the meantime, you are welcome to call or come in to the Assessment office if you need something.

The Lee County parcel map collection is available as an interactive map browsing web site.  There are two versions of the on-line map available:  a free public site that everyone can access, and a professional site that is available through a subscription.  The site provides parcel map information, including aerial photography base (photo taken in April of 2007) and basic property characteristics for all residential property.
