Provides local review of property assessment appeals; acts as final

rolls; issues certificates of error (corrected tax bills).

and assists elected township assessors to promote uniformity of
assessments, administers all homestead exemptions, transfers
ownership when property sells, and acts as a Clerk for the Board of
